Meet Dr. Sameer Atrash
Dr. Sameer “Dr. Sam” Atrash was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Fairfax. His interest in dentistry began at Fairfax High School, where he joined Fairfax County’s Dental Careers Program and started working in dental offices as a teenager.
He earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Product Innovation from Virginia Commonwealth University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. His product-innovation background shapes the way he evaluates technology, workflow and the patient experience.
Today, Dr. Atrash owns and operates dental practices in Virginia and West Virginia. At Merrifield Dentist, his clinical interests include dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, digital dentistry and complex treatment planning. Returning to care for families in the community that raised him is central to his work.
