“Accepted” and “in-network” are not the same thing.
In-network
The dentist has a participation agreement with that specific network. Contracted fees and benefits depend on the plan.
Out-of-network / claims filed
The office may be able to treat you and submit a claim. If the provider is outside your network, you may owe more.
Benefit estimate
An estimate is useful, but it is not a promise of payment. Your insurer makes the final decision after processing the claim.
Before treatment
Verify the details that matter.
Have the name on the policy, date of birth, carrier, member ID and group number available. Do not send private insurance or health details through a general website message.
- Share the exact plan. The carrier name alone is not enough; employers can offer several networks.

What if my carrier is not listed?
Call us. Many PPO plans include out-of-network benefits, and the office may still be able to file the claim for you.
